Thisismyname is a former moderator of the DSHQ forums. She enjoys writing, creating artwork, and playing video games. You can find many of her writings here on the forum.

Arrival

---

Thisismyname orginially created her OldCP account in what was believed to be late July/early August of 2013. She chose the name Thisismyname due to the fact that she didn't believe she would be playing this game a lot and was simply burning time. However, the game grew on Thisismyname and she decided to stick around. While she is still not very fond of the name to this day, it has certainly grown on her.

Moderator Competition

Thisismyname, being an unknown shadow in the community, made her debut in the September Moderator competition. The competition featured many users who would become moderators later that year. Thisismyname took the audience by surprise when her team, the nerds, made it to the finals, despite having a very rough time and users abandoning the team. This unknown character quickly became known among the users and many began to root for Thisismyname during the finals.
Thisismyname ended up falling short during the finals, and lost to Key123 and Hashir. Despite this loss, users still backed her up and she later became a moderator.

Nerds

During the competition, Thisismyname, with the help of her friends Mckenzie and Tornado, created a monumental group known as the Nerds. The Nerds originated with the name "Youcasters", but the name was disregarded and soon the group was simply the Nerds. The groups uniform consisted of a blue jacket combined with a scarf and glasses. The other items in the outfit could be decided by the members.
When houses were introduced, the Nerds team was created as a house and is still one to this day. While the Nerds team competed in several competitions, none compared to the September competition of 2013. The Nerds are no longer an active competition team.

Chat Moderator

During the weekend of the September moderator competition of 2013, Thisismyname was promoted to moderator on the oldcp xat chat. At the time, Thisismyname was very excited and was aware that this was her first step at becoming a in game moderator.

Moderator

Not long after losing the competition, Thisismyname was promoted to moderator on oldCP. She served as a moderator for quite the time. At this time, she was also promoted to a forum moderator. Both positions she no longer holds. Due to inactivity and after asking to be demoted, Thisismyname lost her position of moderator on all DSGHQ platforms. While she did enjoy moderator, she was ok with being demoted. After being demoted, she went on to post tutorials, guides, and etc. to the forum.

During the time which Thisismyname was very active on the forums, she created many different types of artwork for users. Using her previous knowledge of artwork, she created many signatures for users using Photoshop and similar programs. Examples of her work can be seen below:

Today Thisismyname is a rather inactive user of the forums, but you may see her online occasionally.She is not nearly as involved in the community as she was in the previous month. She is still a very notable figure in DSHQ history due to her previous position of moderator and the fact that many of her posts have been highly regarded.
