Skuggi

Skuggi was Dendra's favorite hound and a very fierce warrior. Sadly, she would not live a very long life.

Beginning

Skuggi was born in the old Monk Monastery during its occupation by The Fangsworn. She was the runt of the litter and would have been killed if it were not for her appearance, which caught the eye of Dendra. Skuggi had glowing purple eyes and fur that was darker than the depths of the void. Due to her features, Skuggi became Dendra's favorite hound. Dendra blessed her and she grew faster and larger than the rest of the hounds in the monastery.

Fangsworn Uprising

One day, Dendra would feed the Fangsworn Captain's son to Skuggi. Unsurprisingly, this act enraged the Captain and the Fangsworn Vampires. So the Fangsworn had their first uprising. A great battle broke out and Dendra set his hounds loose to do all the fighting for him. The hounds were victorious and all the rebellious Fangsworn were slayed. Dendra was proud of the work of his hounds and went to pick out a champion of them. He knew he was going to pick Skuggi but she was nowhere to be found. The hounds searched for her and found her dead. Skuggi had been slayed by the Fangsworn Captain, she had been shot with an arrow perfectly between her eyes.

Curse

After finding his most beloved hound dead, Dendra set a curse on the Monk Monastery and the forest around it. The area is haunted by the spirit of Skuggi, hunting lone and weary travelers in the night.
