Dendra

Dendra is one of the nine original Nazgul under the service of the dark lord Pythas.

Beginning

Nothing is entirely certain about Dendra before he became a nazgul, but he has done many works in the name of evil since his corruption. Dendra is known of as being the Dog King and can enter into the bodies of hounds of the Dark Lord in order to carry out his will. He cares little for human life but cares deeply for hounds.

The Monk Monastery

---

Takeover by Fangsworn

One of the earliest known evil acts of Dendra was his raid on old Monk Monastery that was hidden away beyond a forest called Bedwood. Dendra sent the Fangsworn vampires to go and kill all the monks that lived there as well as destroy their works. The Fangsworn were able to take over the monastery and thus the monastery came under the Fangsworn and Dendra's control.

The Fangsworn raised many evil hounds in the old monastery. Eventually, Dendra came to visit the monastery and to observe all the puppies that were being raised there. Dendra was very pleased with what he saw. One hound in particular caught Dendra's eye, it was the runt of the litter and it had enchanting glowing purple eyes and fur that was discribed to be darker than the depths of the void. Dendra blessed this hound and it grew faster than the rest of the hounds.

Fangsworn Uprising

During Dendra's stay at the monastery, Dendra fed the Fangsworn Captain's son to this hound, which enraged the Captain greatly. The Captian and the Fangsworn thus rebelled against Dendra and tried to kill him. The Fangsworn uprising was a lost cause though as Dendra had his hounds do all the fighting for him. All the rebellious Fangsworn were slayed and Dendra was very proud of his hounds. The hounds waited for Dendra to pick out which of them was the greatest warrior of them all. Dendra was of course going to pick his favorite hound, but the hound was nowhere to be seen. Dendra's dogs eventually found the hound dead, an arrow shot perfectly between its eyes by one of the Fangsworn Captain's arrows. Dendra became enraged and set a curse on the monastery with the soul of his dead hound. While the true name of the hound is unknown, it has since been referred to as Skuggi or Shadow in the common tongue.

Fighting For Pythas

Due to Dendra’s anti-social personality, Dendra was not a man of many words. Rather he would summon his hounds to fight with him in the name of Pythas. He was often seen fighting Accal.

Dendra was also never too kind to other draconians. If he thought one of them had betrayed and left evil to join the forces of good, they would be met with swift death if they tried to speak to him.

Dagor Dagorath

Dendra briefly showed up to fight for Pythas during Dagor Dagorath. He was quickly killed when the only weapon he had was his fire breath.

Living On

---

While Dendra was killed on OldCp, he lived on in Penguin3D where he continued to serve Pythas.
