The Brotherhood of Mechanics was founded when Alatar became a mechanic. Eventually, more and more mechanics were recruited to the Brotherhood. It was a draconian brotherhood so not only did they fix things in need of repair but they also worshiped Pythas on the side.

Structure of Mechanics

The structure of Mechanics was very simple. There were only three ranks, each of which are detailed more below.

The Alatar

Alatar was an important figure to the Brotherhood of Mechanics. The mechanics looked up to him and aspired to be either like him or to become him. He was basically a god to them. They considered themselves to be "One with The Alatar" and/or "Mere Extensions of The Alatar".

Master

The mechanics saw Orlock as their master as he was the highest ranking draconian user and basically a sith master. They would go to him for orders and fix whatever he thought needed to be repaired.

Mechanic

Mechanic was the universal rank for all of the mechanics in the brotherhood. Each mechanic had their own number, the number corresponded with the order in which they joined the brotherhood.

Mechanic War

Eventually, the Mechanics would become bored with just fixing things and desired to show their draconian sides a little more to the citizens of OldCp. Thus, they took part in a draconian war for Providence. Southerners were surprised when the lovable Brotherhood of Mechanics pulled red sabers and declared war on Providence. Sadly, this would be the end of The Brotherhood of Mechanics as they were annihilated during the war.
