The Beginning of it All

On the 25th of May, 2014, a user by the name of Cheep brought the Bank idea publicly to the DSGHQ. This lead to the actual official DSGHQ Bank, located on every DSGHQ game of 2014.

The Opening

---

After much anxiousness around the community for the release of the Imperial Bank it was finally opened in early June 2014.

System

The system of the DSGHQ Bank/Imperial Bank is just like ordinary banks around the world. Simply create an account on the DSGHQ Forums and deposit gold in the account selected. As the gold coins stay in the bank account the interest rate rises and the gold coins kept in the account will now gain more gold coins over a certain amount of time. This results in the player gaining more coins to use freely on the DSGHQ Forums' add on store or even depositing them into the user's Snaildom accounts and OldCP accounts. Furthermore, to take out deposited gold coins from a DSGHQ Bank account withdraw as much coins as the bank account holds. No body else can access another user's account unless the user turns off privacy, making it possible for other users to access their gold. This results in users being able to log into that account if given the password from the account's owner. Also, loans, which are payments given out to users if needed but must be paid off within a certain amount of time. Loans are only available to users who have a working job on the DSGHQ. If a loan is not paid off within a month, or at least without and explanation, a user could face banishment or punishments provided by Damen himself.

Bank Rules

The bank rules are clearly stated and were given by the creator of the DSGHQ. All bankers of the Imperial Bank must follow these rules or they will be demoted/warned.

Bankers

Bankers of the Imperial Bank play a crucial role of the bank itself. So, in order for bankers to do so they must reach the specific criteria. This criteria consists of: Clean history on the DSGHQ, average grammar, good behavior, at least member on the DSGHQ Forums, user of the community for at least 4 months. Bankers must be willing to work, otherwise they'll be demoted very quickly. Bankers also must stay in uniform while assisting customers of the Imperial Bank.

Tennis' Reign

Lady Cheep stepped down in March of 2015, and Tennis was crowned Lord of the Bank. He has been running the bank ever since.

Cheep's Reign

Along with Tennis, Cheep will once again be running the bank, as she was re-promoted to head of the Imperial Bank on 5/3/15.

Lord Mico and Lady Cheep were married and now rule over the bank, leaving Tennis to graciously step down from Lord of the Royal Imperial Bank. Lady Cheep and Lord Mico now rule over the Imperial Bank.

In February 2015, the Medieval Party of 2008 had came. This surprised users as it was out of nowhere! Rockhopper made an appearance and users enjoyed the Medieval Theme. A Medieval Ball was also held during this party. On March 15, 2015, this party ended. The Medieval Party was the first party to come back to OldCP.

In October, the Halloween party came where there was OldCP themed as a spooky island. It was suggested by Sir Petal and ended on Halloween day.

Who Is Rsnail?

Rsnail (Lance Priebe) was a well known moderator on Club Penguin. Along with Billybob, he is the founder of Club Penguin. Rsnail is also the founder of Rocketsnail Games which consisted of games that he created with the help of the Rocketsnail Games team. The most popular game of his site was Penguin Chat 3 which is what Club Penguin is based on. Rsnail was the only player known to have a lowercase letter at the start of his name while everyone else who had a lowercase letter at the start of their name but it was automatically changed to an uppercase letter after Club Penguin was updated. Rsnail's name is a contraction of Rocketsnail.

What was Rsnail's Goal?

Rsnail's goal was to create a game with pirates, spies, and ninjas which he all put in Club Penguin, Also on October/24/2012 Lance Priebe logged on Rsnail on Club Penguin to celebrate the 7th Anniversary Party, along with Gizmo, Screenhog, and Billybob. This was the first time he had been online since the fall of 2008. Card Jitsu was Lance Priebe (Rsnail's) last project before quitting Club Penguin.

Rover, more commonly known as Scarlet Myers, was the name of a traitor who created a successful OldCP based gang called the Blackhawks after betraying the Empire. Before the Crimezone was created, Rover had betrayed the trust of the Emperor as an Agent of OldCP!

Agency Betrayal

First remembered for the interruption of an early Game of Mods, Rover had convinced other Agents to join his gang. Together they all hijacked OldCP and banned many players (at a time when guns weren't available) and even kicked Damen off the game.

Their success didn't last long though, Damen reversed the effects and Rover was banished.

First Appearance

The first appearance of Rover was in a darkened version of the OldCP cave. See Blackhawks for more information.

There also appears to be a number of gun lasers pointing toward users. The threat of Rover had officially began. Frightfully, users reported the event on the forums asking one question: "Who is Rover?" That name is now very infamous on the DSGHQ.

Below is a quote from an eyewitness, posting on the forum after their experience.

As i was helping users on the island i was interrupted by someone who summoned me. His name was Rover he had "white" name glow. He had guns pointed right at us he said if we did not do what he said he would shoot and delete are accounts I have to say this is one of my most on topic post ever i have the proof also. If you see rover don't go by him he is a strange guy, but has to be Damen or Mateo this is because it was a secret room with lasers and it was dark plus he had white name glow and he summoned users so this also leads to staff member or a Psa agent. ~Sadie

Interestingly, in the image Rover appears without the red viking helmet shown in most of Rover's sightings.
This is apparent because the first ever case (the death of Gwin at the Mine Shack) took place after this sighting, where it is known that Gwin's rare Rocketsnail helmet was stolen and afterwards worn by Rover. This is evidence of Rover's Blackhawk involvement in the Gwin case.

Life of Crime

Rover's career was over, but it didn't stop him from hacking OldCP by getting into closed Agency accounts. Rover had abused the system to the point that the OldCP Agency was shut down forever by Damen (before the DSGHQ Empire Agency).

Detective Sergeant Nicholas Angel

Later on, the Crimezone of the DSGHQ Crime Office for DSGHQ games was created. Rover perused Detective Sergeant Nicholas Angel from the Crime Office and the two of them played criminal and cop for a while.



Rover revealed that his gang was named the Blackhawks, and he had many players working for him behind the scenes. Despite Nicholas' attempts to dismantle the Blackhawks, Rover killed the Detective Sergeant using a firearm.

After Nicholas Angel's death, the Blackhawks moved further on as a mystery. Rover faked his death on behalf of creating a new Blackhawk Leader named Clarkson. Clarkson eventually failed to successfully complete commands as Blackhawk leader, so Rover assassinated him. After Clarkson died, it was clear Rover was behind the plots still.

Rover lied by trying to call a truce on OldCP. The truce failed and another plot to end OldCP by the Blackhawks began.

The Blackhawks planted bombs in the boiler room, the central power source for the island. Just before he went to detonate the programmed explosives, the Crime Office had already figured it out and so Rover was executed in the Town by an Agency sniper.

Suicide

Some confusions about the death of rover still exist. Did an Agent really kill Rover? Or did Rover choose to die in order to use a new identity? See The Hound and Clegane.

OldCP Bot was created in OldCPv2 under the name Frostbite. He had a blue namecolor and the a title of Game Services. Frostbite was renamed OldCP Bot during OldCPv6.

Frostbite was renamed OldCP Bot in OldCPv6. His previous Ninja outfit was removed, and he was redressed with a Parka and Toque.

It was a great day and orchardtop was bored of new club penguin so he went on youtube. He looked all over and he found a video that said ''OLDCP FINALLY FOUND MUST WATCH'' so he watched and he found Olcp.biz. He loved it so much that he said in the town ''Omg this is awesome.''

Joining the Forums

Orchardtop joined the forums 3 days after he played oldcp. He really enjoyed making posts and tales about oldcp. He loved it a lot

Becoming a Black Guard

Orchardtop became a black guard on the second day he joined oldcp and came first he was surprised but the next day he came out of uniform and was demoted and ip-banned. He never played on the account orchardtop ever again.

The New Account

---

Finally after 3 months of quitting, Orchardtop returned as thebeast123. That lasted almost a year, but Damen Spike restarted the game and orchardtop lost his password.

Joining Snaildom

---

Orchardtop joined Snaildom the second day it was open. He loved it. There was lightsabers, a tunnel and there was even a ghost!

The DSGHQ Minecraft Server

Orchardtop joined the minecraft dsghq server as cossie58. He built with all sorts of players and he made a new friend named Vancelance.

The second ever DSGHQ Royal wedding took place on the 25th March 2015, when Prince Tennis married Princess Dancebear.

Much preparation was put into this wedding. Roles were picked and a schedule was planned.

The original date was March 26th 2015, but the prince couldn't attend on that date so the wedding was moved up to March 25th.

Main Service

The first part that took place was the service, where the two were to get married. Some waited for hours to get in and witness the historical event, however only a maximum of 50 were allowed in to reduce lag.

The main ceremony took place in the OldCP Throne Room.

Royal Party

Following the service, there was the biggest royal feast in the history of the empire. Much of the royalty got intoxicated and had to leave the festivities early and eventually Prince Tennis took control of the party. Many important people showed up for the feast, including The Mountain, who was the warlord at the time.



Overall the wedding was a huge success and the couple is still happily married.

Beginning

Toby first encountered the DSGHQ by searching for creations of the old Club Penguin. Searching on YouTube and Google, he found OldCP. He came on version 1 as "Notch", then to his amazement, saw that it was completely how he remembered it. Besides the OldCP version of Moderators, he felt like he was playing in the past. Toby was instantly hooked to the game.

Ranks

Toby's very first rank was Detective. He was promoted by Nicholas Angel along with others in v9.

Toby's second rank was Knight. He was able to become an Imperial Knight, and got sword training. His third rank was Knight Captain, which lasted a while until demotion.

Toby's fourth rank was three ranks and was Prince of OldCP, Moderator, and Temporary Emperor Helper. The Prince rank ended 10 minutes after the re-opening of OldCP, but continued as a Moderator until demoted by Cyberwolf for sending global messages without permission and lost the rank of Moderator and Knight Captain.

Toby's fifth rank was Emperor's Body Guard. He was to protect the Emperor and almost got his first firearm until he was demoted for complicated reasons. His sixth rank was becoming a Moderator again after a long time of demotion! (Current rank).

Toby joined Penguin Chat 4 Beta (temporary game to replace OldCP) as "James". He became a Moderator and helped all he could. He also found many glitches on this game, as it was only a Beta.
