DSGHQ Bank

The Beginning of it All

On the 25th of May, 2014, a user by the name of Cheep brought the Bank idea publicly to the DSGHQ. This lead to the actual official DSGHQ Bank, located on every DSGHQ game of 2014.

The Opening

After much anxiousness around the community for the release of the Imperial Bank, it was finally opened in early June 2014.

System

The system of the DSGHQ Bank/Imperial Bank is just like ordinary banks around the world. Simply create an account on the DSGHQ Forums and deposit gold in the account selected. As the gold coins stay in the bank account the interest rate rises and the gold coins kept in the account will now gain more gold coins over a certain amount of time. This results in the player gaining more coins to use freely on the DSGHQ Forums' addon store or even depositing them into the user's Snaildom accounts and OldCP accounts. Furthermore, to take out deposited gold coins from a DSGHQ Bank account withdraw as many coins as the bank account holds. Nobody else can access another user's account unless the user turns off privacy, making it possible for other users to access their gold. This results in users being able to log into that account if given the password from the account's owner. Also, loans, which are payments given out to users if needed but must be paid off within a certain amount of time. Loans are only available to users who have a working job on the DSGHQ. If a loan is not paid off within a month, or at least without an explanation, a user could face banishment or punishments provided by Damen himself.

Bank Rules

The bank rules are clearly stated and were given by the creator of the DSGHQ. All bankers of the Imperial Bank must follow these rules or they will be demoted/warned.

Bankers

Bankers of the Imperial Bank play a crucial role in the bank itself. So, in order for bankers to do so, they must reach the specific criteria. This criterion consists of: Clean history on the DSGHQ, average grammar, good behavior, at least member on the DSGHQ Forums, a user of the community for at least 4 months. Bankers must be willing to work, otherwise, they'll be demoted very quickly. Bankers also must stay in uniform while assisting customers of the Imperial Bank.

Tennis' Reign

Lady Cheep stepped down in March of 2015, and Tennis was crowned Lord of the Bank.

Cheep's Reign

Along with Tennis, Cheep once again ran the bank, as she was re-promoted to head of the Imperial Bank on 5/3/15.

Little's Reign

After Little became Lady of the Bank on Penguin3D, she brought back the Banker rank. The first banker to be promoted to the revived rank was Pic.

• Cynthia [Time - 2017-2018]
  Throughout her time as the Lady of the Bank there were no Bankers which would be soon permanent which led to many being mad but soon happened to vanish and not be heard of much.
  
• Xen [Date of Promotion - April 12th, 2018]
  Xen wasn't promoted until five days after him being accepted as Lord of the Bank due to him dying by a swarm of ORCs.
  
• Ratquelle [Date of Promotion - June 14th, 2018]
  Ratquelle was a former moderator on OldCP who got Lady of the Bank after Xen was tragically killed.
  
• Brit [Date of Promotion - August 28, 2018]
  Brit, formerly a detective and winner of the Summer Game of Mods 2018, became Lady of the Bank by applying for it after Xen resigned.
  
• Macy [Date of Promotion - February 7, 2019]
  Macy (Lee/Leaf), formerly Moderator and Queen of Das. She was married to Brit in August of 2018 and accepted the role of Lady of the Bank after resigning from Queen of Das in February of 2019.
  
• LunarWolf [Date of Promotion - April 8, 2020]
  Information: LunarWolf (Chis), a former Moderator and PWC. Accepted the role of Lord of the Bank when he was offered it through applying.
  
• Layla [Date of Promotion - July 7, 2020]
  Accepted role Lady of the Bank from LunarWolf, who had resigned.
  
• Chis (LunarWolf) [Date of Promotion - November 21, 2020]
  Accepted role Lord of the bank when he was offered it through applying. It was between him and Pic. Chis won out as he has more experience with the rank.
  
• Fable [Date of Promotion - May 2, 2021]
  Controversially appointed Lord of the Bank by Wilf. It was controversial as Chis had appointed Pic to be Lady of the Bank when he resigned. Most people agreed with Chis and thought that Pic was deserving of the rank as she had narrowly lost out on it before.
  
• Little [Date of Promotion - August 5, 2021]
  Accepted role of Lady of the Bank after Fable was demoted for not doing his job.
