Throughout the years, various sicknesses have appeared on OldCp. They came from things like poisons, radiation, potions, and infectious diseases.
Radiation Sickness first appeared after Sriram sent a powerful nuke into the waters near the iceberg. The nuke sent a wave of radiation over the South causing user's screens to blur and wave. A cure was developed by Fable and the wise team at the time.
Radiation sickness would appear again when goblins irradiated users to infect them.
- Slow Walking (slows more the sicker the user is)
- Additions to each message " *cries* *vomits* ", and others.
Death with radiation can come quick or slowly. It gets worse the more the user speaks.
The Pale Death has appeared several times throughout OldCp's history. It is typically spread through poison bombs created by pirates.
- Green Eyes
- Slow Walking
- Additions to each message " *cries* *vomits* ", and others.
Death from this poison can come very quick. The slower a user moves, the sooner their death will be.

Goblinism has been a rare disease in the DSGHQ history. Only two users have actually become infected by it, Miromeski, and bigcizzle. They contracted the disease after consuming a massive amount of potions in the goblin cave on Providence. After, they eventually fell unconscious and when they awoke, they had sickly green skin. Over the next few days, they grew more and more angry and even began to look more like Goblins.
- Anger
- Hunger
- Green Skin
- Shrinking of the spine
As of now death is not caused by Goblinism.
An experiment, attempting to cure Goblinism.
Vampirism would occur in users after being bitten three times by a vampire. After being bitten by a vampire, the user would become sick for a number of days as their body attempted to fight off the disease.

After three days, an infected user would either die from the disease or become a vampire.

COVID-19 appeared on OldCp in early 2020, pre-dating the tidal wave of the disease's realistic counterpart. It was spread by users being near each other and not wearing masks. COVID-19 would circulate through the community repeatedly until the sickness was removed from OldCp. It is speculated that Damen may have had direct involvement in the development of the actual COVID-19 Pandemic, though this is most likely the result of a terrifying coincidence.

The cure for radiation sickness is currently unnamed, but it comes in a blue vile of liquid.Pale Death

Cure
The cure for Pale Death are Apple Seeds. The tiny amount of Cyanide in the seeds heal the infected.Three users infected with the Pale Death.
Goblinism
Goblinism has been a rare disease in the DSGHQ history. Only two users have actually become infected by it, Miromeski, and bigcizzle.
