Vingaard is a dragon in the service of Ancalagon.
Vingaard is a dragon who was hatched on Beleriand, presumably in Ered Gorgor. From a young age, Vingaard was cared for by Mahannon (MotherVulture), who said she had known him since he was an egg. Due to Mahannon's care for Vingaard, he is sympathetic towards vultures, especially the kin of Mahannon. Aside from this, much of Vingaard's past remains a mystery.
Vingaard is disloyal to Ancalagon and is highly likely to be turned away from Fire Nation. He stated once that he had almost been corrupted by Revan when Beleriand was invaded in 2022. Mahannon herself had said that Vingaard was a disloyal Fire Nation member when she told her daughter that he would help free her from the Gorgoroth dungeons. It is likely that Vingaard has remained on the side of Fire Nation out of fear.
