The Blind Monks of the Tobler Moths are retired Moth Priests.
Guardians
Blind Monks are seasoned warriors, though they do not carry weapons whilst inside the Moth Temple or Moth Library, unlike before when they were Priests. Therefore they only guard the scrolls with their ears.
Studying
Blind Monks study the scrolls using special braille. They only go as far as the Mod Room, but they stay in the Moth Library most of the time. They never go outside. They remain in the Library and Temple of the Moths until they die.
Changes
The Blind Monk role changed slightly over the years. The rank became very exclusive and was open only to retired Grand Moth Wises/High Priests and retired long serving Moth Ninjas. They were also able to leave the Wise Complex and go about as they pleased.
Famous Blind Monks
Aside from the Nine Nazgul that infiltrated the Moth Council as Blind Monks, very few have ever earned the rank. Some of the first Blind Monks were Hridi,
Hgar, Holger, and Hjolf.
