The Nazgul

The Creation of the Nazgul

Pythas long ago forged nine rings and presented them to powerful men of Arda. Pythas disguised as an elf named Mairon Annatar, with the help of Celebrimbor (also known as Telperinquargoth) created twenty rings in the Molten Caverns of Orodruin (ORO DOOM). Three for the elves, seven for the dwarves, nine for the men, and one for himself. The Nazgul are the product of Pythas giving nine rings to the powerful men of Arda. After this, more rings were created, each with different powers.
