Cobia was added to the game on April 25th, 2021 in the Cobia Update. Like the Dorval Update, the Land Owner already existed and was given the land. This land owner was Angel Cobo.

Vultures

The vultures were known to reside in Cobia for a period of time, but eventually left the island possibly due to the Cobos declaring war on them.

The Cobo Family

AngelCobo was a follower of Pythas and the family had a large mass of gold as the island is rich with gold. With this, the Cobos were able to create golden lions throughout the island, and an iconic Gold Throne. It is unknown how they arrived on the island, but it is assumed they migrated from one of the existing islands. The Cobo Family consists of Angel Cobo, the rest of the family members are presumed dead. Unfortunately a day after Cobia's discovery/release, the Cobo line was ended in a war by Radaghast.

Invasion of Cobia

The Forces of Pythas invaded Cobia on April 26th, 2021, with little to no people against them. The reign of Pythas on Cobia would go on for about 3 months, before it was given up to Raymond, who would lose it to the Fire Nation on March 11th, 2022.

2nd Cobia Invasion

On March 11th, 2022, Ancalagon the Black would declare war on Cobia. Cobia was the last island on Arda that Fire Nation desired to rule over as Axel Island was considered to be too cold for the Fire Drakes to fight for. In anticipation of this war, Cobia became the most militarized island with tanks and navy ships being present. The military's presence meant little as the Fire Nation would win the war through brute strength.

Reclaiming

As Ancalagon and the Fire Nation fell on 4/4/2022, House Drake would reclaim Cobia under Raymond's rule, eventually giving it to Kabal after Raymond was vanquished.
