The Beginning

Joining the DSGHQ

Swirlie had originally been in the community before, under the username Caley. Caley was given the title of "Royal Fool" during a session in 2014. However, she had quit and joined back in January 2015 under the name BlueLights. This was when Swirlie's OldCP journey truly began.

Earning Ranks

Moderator

Swirlie's main goal of OldCP was to become a moderator. She always tried to help as many people as she could. Her first rank was Penguin Watch, which was what started her journey to Moderator. In June of 2015, however, Chelsey opened OldCP moderator applications on the forum. Swirlie decided to take a chance and thought, why not? Because of this, Swirlie earned moderator along with CoffeeCow and Wheeler.

In August of 2015, Swirlie and all other moderators were demoted due to a staff reset. She was never promoted back for an unknown reason.

About a year later in October 2016, Swirlie was promoted to a trial moderator by Rocket. It was then decided that she would permanently remain on the staff team. A few months later in December, she was promoted to Head Moderator. She held this position for 3 years and was known as one of the longest standing staff members.

Emperor Helper

After 2 years of moderating, Damen decided to promote Swirlie to Emperor Helper. He did this on a live stream in November 2018, since previous Emperor Helpers stepped down. He believed that Swirlie was the fittest for the rank since she was loyal and experienced. Swirlie was apprehensive about this, and she did not believe she was ready, but she decided to try it and see how she would do.

She was Emperor Helper for 2 weeks until she made a mistake and was demoted. A user had infinite grenades and was killing many users in jail, and Swirlie did not inform Damen about it. Damen got very upset and fired her when he found out. She was however repromoted to moderator.

Resignation

Unfortunately, Swirlie's 3-year journey as a moderator had come to an end. On March 3, 2019, Swirlie requested for Cristal, who was Emperor Helper, to demote her. She no longer felt the need to be in the community. She had then left for a year, visiting once every few months.

Return

---

In late March of 2020, Swirlie was bored and decided to visit OldCP. She had seen a lot of old friends and was able to talk with them again. This had driven her to return to the community.

Repromotion

On April 19, 2020, Damen promoted several new staff members on OldCP. A few days prior to this, moderator vacancies were open, and Swirlie had applied. Swirlie was chosen to be a moderator once more, in fact, she was instantly promoted to Head Moderator. Along with her, Chelsey was promoted to administrator, Sam and Jilly to moderator, and Hashir and Sugar to leaders of the Crime Office.
