Lord Law

Lord Law is a lawyer who works under Mandos in the Mandos Law Firm.

Background

Lord Law became interested in law early on in life. He knew he wanted to become a lawyer when he was grown up. When he was a child, he would often be quoting legal terms for any wrongs done against him. Lord Law was talented enough in school to make it into the draconian law school. He flourished in his studies and became a top notch lawyer. Mandos noticed Lord Law's great talent and offered him a position in his law firm. Lord Law accepted Mandos's offer and he continues to work for Mandos Law to this day.

Holding Trials

LordLaw has been both a lawyer and a judge at many trials for Mandos. Often times he has been seen being both the judge and the lawyer for evil. He has also served court papers on some occasions.

Case of Land Ownership

The first case Lord Law would host would be the case to determine who rules all the lands. This would take place on July 12, 2019, shortly after the seven new maiar were made.

Lord Law himself handled this trial. Most of his case consisted of things that had been discussed at a prior Holy Trial, such as that Accal had committed blasphamy when he said that he was "the eyes of Eru". Afterwards, the draconian legal team moved on to asking how one of the seven chosen maiar can rule a land that Eru created, Dorval in particular.

This trial was disrupted when Jenna hit two of the MandosLawyer bots with her wooden sword, which ended up doing damage to them. Lord Law saw this as a violent attack and attacked Jenna. Turin then attacked Lord Law. The draconian legal team got upset and claimed that Turin had broken what was supposed to be a peaceful legal meeting.

After all this excitement, Lord Law judged that Turin was to be executed at the Mountain, but he did not make a ruling on the case of land ownership.

Trial of The Three Musketeers

On February 21, 2020, Lord Law would attempt to host another trial. This one was to be for Orlock, Kace, and Glarthir, or "The Three Musketeers" as he called them. They were the three who killed LEGION in hell on Orome's orders. Like the previous trial Lord Law tried to host, this trial would also go astray. Lord Law got attacked by Void and a small skirmish broke out between some good mortals and the Dark Forest Princes. A Forest Prince and Princess, Achilles and Loki, witnessed the event and did nothing, which further angered Lord Law. So he decided to host a different trial.

Trial of Loki and Achillies

Lord Law charged Loki and Achillies with "letting evil murderers get away with murder." He also accused Loki and Achillies of not showing love to their enemies as what Orome would have wanted them to and called them traitors to Orome. Lord Law tried to name himself as the judge at this trial but was shot down and Glarthir was called in to judge instead.

Glarthir ended up throwing out the trial, stating that it was full of hypocrisy on the side of the defendant as the Dark Forest Princes do not show love for others and also because the Dark Forest Princes have been known to take part in some of the largest slaughters of innocents.

Recruiting Draconians

In early February of 2020, Lord Law would make an appearance and a major announcement. Lord Law announced that Pythas' time of ruling evil was over and that all the draconians should follow Mandos instead. Specifically, what he said was:
Quote:
The Pytharian drac era is ending. The Mandosian era will take over. Pythas is a prince, but Mandos is a LORD. It is time for Pythas' dracs to die out.

Penguin3D

On Penguin3D, Lord Law would still work under Mandos for the Mandos Law Firm, but he would be much less critical of Pythas. Lord Law and Mandos would not try to start their very own faction of evil, rather they merely suggested to the draconians that they work with Pythas, but not to get in Ancalagon's way if Pythas were to be attacked by the great dragon.

Trialing Aule

Lord Law would end up assisting with one of the most important trials ever, the Trial of Aule for "Obstruction of the will of The One" and blasphemy. Lord Law wrote up full legal papers for the trial and had witnesses sign witness statements.

First Charge

For the first charge, it was stated that Aule illegally removed a trident from Alatar that had been given to Alatar under the will of Nameless One. Or as the full legal wording states:
Quote:
2.1 OBSTRUCTION OF THE WILL OF THE ONE
In keeping to the most glorious and most dutiful post: the upholding of the One Will, it is a duty of the plaintiff to accuse the defendant with the assistance of solid testimonies. The accusation of obstruction (Heinous Of Nature, Corrupt Of Will) is as when the defendant took it upon himself to remove the Trident Of Nameless One from the possession of the rightly disposed and anointed holder of such Trident Of Nameless One ("Alatar The Trident Holder") for his own purposes to obstruct the original will of the designated appointer of duty ("Manwe Dutiful Giver OF Tridents") in order to serve his own will. In the act, he bestowed illegally upon his own subject the Trident in grievance to the original Will and without leave from the honourable issuer of the article.

Second Charge

For the charge of blasphemy, Aule had been seen calling himself "mighty" on three separate occasions, which is seen as betraying the will of Nameless One who had said that Ainur should act and dress as lowly ones. Or as the full legal wording states:
Quote:
2.2 BLASPHEMY
As a grievance to the original instruction (quote) "you must be as a lowly one" from the Mouth of the One, in accord to his own action of living in exile wearing only a tattered robe, the defendant has conversely stated by his own words that he is "mighty" up to three times on three occasions. Such words are unbefitting of a son, a child, a subject, a lowly ant in the sight of He (May peace be upon Valinor). Furthermore, the defendant has not issued any sort of contextual dismissal of this accusation as posed to him on one known occasion as he sees no need, further establishing his indifference to the import of being as a lowly one in accord to the Mighty Command of lowliness upon the great. It is unfitting of an Ainur and therefore a duty of Mandos Law to act in the interests of justice.
